There is nothing worse than putting time, effort and money into commissioning and producing a video and then not doing everything you can to make sure it has an audience.

YouTube and Vimeo are the obvious places to put a video first.  But with 100 hours of video uploaded to YouTube every minute, you have to work hard to find your audience.

Embed it on your website.

Facebook, Google+ and Twitter are next, along with any other social media sites your organisation uses.  (Make sure you have linked your YouTube channel to your social media accounts.)

Don’t overlook the obvious, promote your video on any printed material and include it in your email signature.
